Two hospitalised after traffic accident in Rabat

Two persons were hospitalised following a traffic accident on Tuesday afternoon.

The accident took place at 3:35pm in Triq Buqana.

Police said a 29-year-old driving a motorcycle lost control and overturned the vehicle. A 17-year-old girl was riding pillion.

Both were taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment. 

A police investigation is ongoing.
