Motorcyclist seriously injured in Mellieha accident

A 36-year-old was hospitalised following a traffic accident in Mellieha.

The accident occurred at 6:30am in Triq il-Marfa.

Police said the victim, a Belgian national, had lost control of the motorcycle he was driving and crashed into a wall.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.

A police investigation is ongoing.
