Motorcyclist seriously injured in traffic accident

A 30-year-old man was hospitalised following a traffic accident in Rabat late on Tuesday evening.

The accident occurred at 1:30am in Triq il-Belt Valletta.

Police said the 30-year-old from Mosta lost control of his Yamaha motorcycle and fell.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.

A police investigation is ongoing.
