Motorcyclist seriously injured in traffic accident

A 67-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalised after a traffic accident in Luqa on Sunday.

The accident occurred at 4:30pm in Triq Ħal-Farruġ.

Police said the victim, from Siggiewi, lost of the motorcycle he was ridding and fell.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.

A police investigation is ongoing.

An inquiry has been opened.
