Customs seize over 3,000 bottles of wine

Customs have seized 3,338 bottles of wine and 23 bottles of whiskey during a search in Sliema of two different outlets.

On Monday, customs said it also seized 49 packets of shisha tobacco and 7,607 unused excise stamps.

The amount of endangered taxes related to this seizure runs into hundreds of euros, Customs said.
