Girl, 6, hit by tourist coach in Marsaxlokk

A six-year-old girl was hospitalised after she was hit by a tourist coach in Triq G Maniscalco, Marsaxlokk on Monday.

A police spokesperson said the accident happened at around 2:45pm, after the girl exited her father’s car onto the road. The coach was driven by a 35-year-old man from Fgura.

The spokesperson said the injuries are slight to grievous, and not serious injuries were sustained.

The girl is being held at Mater Dei Hospital for observation.

Police investigations are ongoing.
