Admits to fraud on Gozo farmhouse bookings

Priscilla Vella, 28 of Marsa was given a conditional discharge for three years by Magistrate Antonio Mizzi, after she admitted to defrauding 15 people of €1,169.

Vella took the money when accepting deposits on bookings for Gozo farmhouse holidays, but had never made the bookings.

The court was informed that shortly before the proceedings, the woman had paid back the monies owed.
