Romanian charged with reckless driving, injuring tourist
A Romanian national was charged with causing serious injury to a foreign tourist when running her over in St. Julian’s.

29 year-old Romanian national Cosmin Liviu Balan was charged before Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna of seriously injuring British national Brigitte Georgina Manning and slightly injuring an Italian man, when he hit them with his BMW car on Main Street, St. Julian's last Wednesday.
Balan, who pleaded not guilty, was also charged with driving recklessly.
He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of €1,000
