Cat found crucified in Mosta
Cat found dead and crucified upside down to a fence in Mosta.
A cat was found dead on Sunday morning, crucified beneath a statue of St Joseph in Main Street, Mosta.
Earlier this year, the Police had discovered another two cats crucified in Mosta on 17 January and 10 February. One had been found hanging to the gate of a chapel in Triq San Anton Abbati while the other was found dead in Baskal Buhagiar Street, also crucified.
The Police are investigating the fifth such occurrence since 2011. Five cats and dogs have been found hanging dead in Mosta since October 2011, with a number of notes being discovered, in which the perpetrator said the suffering he or she had gone through was worse than that of the dead dogs.

I'm Maltese living overseas and I am ashamed to hear of these few individuals who give Malta such a bad name over here. Is nothing being done to catch this sick person or are animals "low priority"? How sick can anyone be to do this?
