Two held in police custody following report

The police today received a report of two persons in a vehicle acting suspiciously in the Landrijiet area of Rabat.

The police immediately went to the scene to investigate, managing to track down the vehicle in question.

Its occupants, a 32-year-old man from Mellieha and a 33-year-old woman from Naxxar are currently being held for questioning.

The 32-year-old man was allegedly seen jumping onto the terrace of a private residence and entering through the window. Shortly after the same man exited the residence and made his way to the awaiting vehicle being driven by the woman.

Police investigations are currently ongoing.
