Man charged with attempted murder of brother-in-law

A 24-year-old man, Christian Cardona was charged with attempted murder of his brother-in-law when he assaulted him with a knife and fired a gun in the direction of his brother-in-law and a woman on Saturday 26 January.

Cardona who was also accused of relapsing, possessing illegal weapons and breaching public order pleaded not guilty

The accused was granted bail against a €1,000 deposit and a personal guarantee of €10,000.
