Four held over theft of cables

Four men are being held by the Police in connection with investigations into the theft of cables from a private property in Kirkop.

The Police said they received reports of theft from a plant in Kirkop over the past week.

The Police made its arrests after observing a man trying to climb up a wall to enter the plant last night. Three other men who were found hiding close to the plant were also arrested.

A subsequent search revealed tools which may have been used in the theft of the cables.

The men are expected to be arraigned in the coming days.
