Man held up in Luqa

Man, 35, admitted to hospital after incurring light injuries in hold-up

A Siggiewi resident, 35, was held up at 2am earlier today by two unidentified persons.

The man was driving his car through Hal Farrug road, in Luqa, when he was stopped by two men and then held up and robbed of his money.

No amounts were disclosed by police or whether the man was held at gunpoint. The victim was taken to Mater Dei hospital after he was found suffering from light injuries.
