Man charged with assault

A 32-year-old man was charged by Police for assaulting a man in Rabat, Gozo on Tuesday at 7:30pm.

The accused, a Syrian national residing in Marsalforn, was accused of causing grievous bodily harm on the victim, threatening the man and breaching public peace.

The man pleaded not guilty and was granted bail against the payment of €3,000.
