83-year-old dies in traffic accident

An elderly man has lost his life after he with crashed his car into an electrcitiy pole in Mdina Road, Zebbug.

An 83-year-old man from Birkirkara has lost his life following a traffic accident in Haz-Zebbug. The man, who was driving a purple Mitsubishi Pajero Junior, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an electricity pole.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital but he died shortly afterwards.

A magisterial inquiry is being held.
