Armed robbery in St Julian’s ice-cream shop

An armed robber made away with €600 after robbing an ice-cream shop in Triq Gorg Borg Olivier in St Julian's.

According to the police, the robbery took place after midnight, 0:45am, when an masked man entered the shop armed with a knife and demanded money from the salesgirl.

The robber escaped with €600. No one was injured during this incident.

A magisterial inquiry has been ordered while police investigation is ongoing.
