Five-year-old hit by car in Msida

A five-year-old boy was rushed to hospital this morning after he was hit by a car in Triq ix-Xatt Msida. The boy, who was riding a tricycle, was crossing the road with his father when he was hit by a Toyota Starlet.

The car was being driven by a 68-year-old man from Pembroke.

The Police confirmed that the incident happened at around 8.45am. The little boy was rushed to hospital. Even though his injuries are not known, the boy is not in danger of dying.
