Man charged with harassing woman

A 40-year-old man was today granted bail after he pleaded not guilty to harassing a woman at the Valletta Waterfront.

Mahmoud Zinou, born in Damascus but residing in St Julian's was charged with threatening the woman and her children with violence and insulting her.

Zinou was further charged with causing €700 worth of damage to the detriment of a woman, slightly injuring her and breaching the peace between 3 and 4 May.
