Man charged with series of thefts

A 56-year-old man from Naxxar was remanded in custody pleading not guilty to a series of thefts.

Joseph Muscat was charged with stealing €260 and a gold ring from a residency in Naxxar and €400 from a vehicle belonging to the same victim.

He also pleaded not guilty to attempting another theft which he could not be executed because of circumstances out of his control.
