Four cars involved in traffic accident
Driver suffering from grievous injuries but is not in danger of dying.
A driver of a Fiat Tempra is suffering from grievous injuries but is not in danger of dying after a collision with a Honda Accord in Mdina Road, Attard.
But what started off as a collision between two cars ended up with a total of four cars involved.
The first collision happened between the Tempra and the Accord just after 5am. A few minutes later, a Vauxhall Astra collided with the two cars and moments later a fourth car joined the collision.
Police said the driver of the Tempra, 28 of Mtarfa, was driving from Rabat to Qormi; the driver of the Accord, 30 of Attard, was driving in the direction to Attard from Birkirkara; the Vauxhall Astra, driven by a 44-year-old man from Rabat and the fourth car were driving to Qormi from Rabat.
Police investigation is ongoing.
