Car on fire in St Julian's

A car caught fire in St Julians in the early hours of this morning, however nobody was injured the police said.

The police said the Toyota Hilux caught fire at around 2am and members of the Civil Protection Department were called on site to control the flames.

The car was extensively damaged. The window of a residence close by was also damaged by the fire.
