Man dies after being run over during argument

A 54-year-old man from Rabat, Gozo, lost his life late this evening. The man had been involved in a heated argument with another Gozitan, a 63-year-old man from Zebbug.

During the argument, which took place in the parking area of the Qbajjar Promenade, the elder man returned to his car and drove over the 54-year-old man.

Both men were taken to the Gozo General Hospital. It appears that the elder man was injured during the fight.
