Woman hit by car, in critical condition
55-year-old woman from Luqa in a critical condition after car accident in Hamrun.

Police were called to Triq Nazzjonali, Hamrun, after a woman was run over at around 12.50 this afternoon.
The woman, 55, from Luqa, was hit by a Skoda Fabia which was being driven by a 41-year-old woman from Mqabba.
The woman was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital. She is in a critical condition.
The magistrate on duty was informed of the case and has appointed several experts to help him in the inquiry.

An underestimated issue in local car accidents, is that we all drive on the centre of a street or lane ! There is no fast or slow lane. We should all drive on the left, I mean the LEFT.
