Suspended sentence for stealing groceries

Fgura woman suspended for two years.

Antonella Vella, 28, of Fgura, was handed a year's prison term suspended for two years, over charges of theft from vehicles.

Inspector Johann Vella told the court the accused stole groceries and a car stereo from a Toyota parked in Mahatma Gandhi Street, Fgura.

Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit found the youth guilty as charged and handed her a two year suspended sentence.

Mark Vassallo appeared for the accused.
