Gozitan woman charged with harassment

Mary Xiberras was this morning arraigned in court were she faced charges of harassing, offending and threatening to use violence against another person in Xaghra on 17 July.

The 57-year-old woman was also accused of threathening the victim on social networks, disturbing the public peace and carrying a sharp and pointed weapon without necessary permits.

Xiberras pleaded not guilty and was granted bail against a personal guarantee of €3,000.
