Teenager hit by car

A teenager was hit by a car today, August 9, 2013, at about 4.15 p.m., in Mosta Street St Paul’s Bay.

Preliminary investigations showed that the 15-year-old English girl was crossing the street when she was hit by vehicle of make Toyota IQ being driven by a 36-year-old woman residing in Għargħur.

The teenager was hospitalised and certified to be suffering injuries of grievous nature.
