Colombian nationals charged with trafficking cocaine
Court remands in custody two Colombians for trafficking over 200 grammes of cocaine.
Two Colombian nationals, Gloria Stella Vargaskena, 38 and John Fabe Uruena Molina, 31, both residing in Spain, were remanded in custody over separate charges of drug trafficking.
Magistrate Carol Peralta heard that Vargaskena was apprehended carrying over 200g of cocaine in her intimate parts.
Molina, who lives in Madrid, was charged with conspiring to traffic drugs. The prosecution argued the accused was the brains behind Vargaskena's case. While the woman was a drug mule for the drugs, the man shadowed her movements.
Inspector Nikolai Sant objected to bail and the accused were remanded in custody.
