Young cyclist hit by car in Iklin
A 13-year-old girl is injured after being hit by car while cycling in Iklin.

A 13-year-old cyclist was grievously injured when she was hit by a car yesterday, evening at around 9:20pm in Triq il-Wied, Iklin.
Preliminary investigations found that the girl, who lives in Iklin, was on her way home, when she collided with a silver Vauxhall Corsa being driven by a 20-year-old man residing in Swieqi.

Observing the way MANY cyclists completely disregard the rules of the road - ESPECIALLY of cycling on the wrong side and ignoring no-entry signs- it's surprising that there are not more of these kind of accidents reported.
