Stabbed man seeks help at police station

The victim of a scuffle staggered towards a police station to report a fight before he was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital suffering from a stab wound.

The drama unfolded last night in Bormla after an argument broke out in Triq Matty Grima.

According to the police, a 25-year-old man from Bormla, was allegedly wounded during a scuffle with a woman, 45, and a young man, 22, also from Bormla.

The victim allegedly got stabbed in to the stomach with a pointed instrument.

Together with another woman, 25 of Bormla, the stabbed man sought help at the local police station where he was escorted to the health centre to receive first aid.

He was then rushed to Mater Dei Hospital where he is now in stable condition.

Further police investigations are underway.
