Sliema real estate office targeted in arson

The façade and main door of a real estate office were targeted in a suspected arson today, police said.

The attack took place at about 2 am, in Triq it-Torri, Sliema.

It was the owner of a nearby bar, identified as a Qrendi man of 31 years, who spotted a burning tyre before extinguishing it using a fire extinguisher. He then pushed it onto the pavement to avoid further damage.

The property in question belongs to a 36-year-old man residing in Sliema.

Further investigations are underway.
