Suspected arson damages three cars

Three cars were extensively damaged in a suspected arson in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The incident took place in a field, which is used as a car park in Triq ix-Xgħajra, Żabbar. 

Police said preliminary investigations showed that a BMW was probably the primary target after a burnt tyre was discovered on its right-hand side.

The two cars parked next to the BMW were also damaged in the blaze.

The flames were extinguished by the Civil Protection Department.
