Bulgarian drowns in swimming pool

A Bulgarian national was this morning found dead in a swimming pool in Qawra.

Stoyan Gerdzhikov, a 31-year-old Bulgarian who works in Malta was found dead by the police after a report was received at 6:30am.

The man was found dead in a communal pool and the man was identified by two women. Reportedly, the man found some difficulties while swimming in the pool however, the reason for his death is unknown.

The police are investigating.
