Police report third morning traffic incident
19-year-old grievously injured in St Julian’s crash.

A young man was grievously injured after he crashed his car onto a central strip in St Julian's.
The incident happened at around 6:40am in Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli.
In a statement, the police said the teenager, 19 of Rabat, lost control of his Ford Fiesta and ended up on the central strip near the tunnels.
An ambulance was called on site and the young man was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital.
Police investigation is ongoing.

It appears that the majority of local accidents are of the "driver lost control of the vehicle" nature. Kind of makes one think twice before venturing on to the roads with so much carelessness out there.
