Man held after suspected cannabis find

A 26-year-old man was arrested early this morning after "acting suspiciously" during a road check in Zebbug, Gozo, the police said.

The police said that the man acted suspiciously during a road block at around 12:30am in Triq ir-Rabat, Zebbug held by the Gozitan branch of the CID and mobile squad.

His behaviour raised suspsicion and a number drug related objects were found in his car. The man was then arrested after the police found "what is suspected to be cannabis" in his apartment.
