Armed hold-up in Marsa

The police are on the search for three persons who are believed to have stolen around €1,000 in cash during a hold-up at AMG Cold Stores in Marsa.

The hold-up took place at around 3:40pm and sources said three people were inside the store at the time of the incident.

According to the police, two persons stormed the establishment while a third waited in a Freelander outside.

The vehicle was then torched and found in Triq il-Moll tal-Knisja, Marsa, close to the power station.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police investigation is ongoing.
