Theft from Valletta lotto booth

The Police are investigating a theft from a lotto booth in Triq San Zakkarija, Valletta. The theif, a man, entered the booth and asked a 45-year-old woman to close the shop's door and switch off the lights.

The burglar proceeded to behind the shop counter and grabbed the money from the cash till and fled away.

No one was injured in the incident which happend at around 6pm.
