Flames roar in Qormi street
Three cars and two buildings sustain damage as a fire flares up in the early hours of the morning.

Triq Ġużè Ellul Mercer in Qormi early this morning resembled a scene from a civil war as three cars an office door and the façade of a house were damaged in a blaze, which flamed up at around 2:30am.
On site investigations revealed that a Mercedes M Class caught fire. The flames spread to a nearby office door and the façade of a private residence. A Toyota Cami and a Peugeot Partner, which where parked nearby were also damaged in the blaze.
Civil Protection personnel controlled the flames, as the duty magistrate held an on site inquiry.
Police investigations are ongoing.
