Horse bolts in Marsa, put down due to injuries

Horse put down after suffering grievous injuries, no persons were injured in the incident.

The horse which bolted in Marsa earlier this morning was put down due to the grievous injuries in Marsa.

The incident happened at around 6:15am in Aldo Moro Street.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the horse bolted, hit a Daihatsu Charade and kept going on until he hit another car.

While no persons were injured, the incident caused a huge traffic jam affecting several localities. All but one lane in Aldo Moro were closed until 8:30am.

Police investigation ongoing.
