14-year old handed suspended sentence over forged passport
A Somali man flew to Malta to hand a forged French passport for around €150.
A 14-year old Somali minor pleaded guilty to having in his possession a forged French Passport.
The minor, who already commands a good use of English, said how another Somali migrant who resides in Italy, got a flight to Malta to hand him the forged passport. The minor paid €150 for the fake document.
He was told off for his demeanor and urged to discuss issues with his social worker rather than get himself in trouble.
The minor was handed a year's jail term suspended for two years.
