Drugs found in inmate’s prison cell
Suspected heroin found in prisoner’s cell, mobile in workshop used by the same inmate.
Prison officials discovered drugs in the prison cell of a resident at Corradino Correctional Facility, MaltaToday has learnt.
Sources said the prisons' leadership received confidential information that an inmate was in possession of drugs. A raid confirmed that one inmate had drugs in his cell, suspected to be heroin.
A mobile was also found in a workshop used by the same inmate.
Members of the Drugs Squad were called to CCF to retrieve the drugs.
