Woman, 23, critical after head-on crash

A young woman is in critical condition following a head-on collision in Triq Mons Mikiel Azzopardi, Siggiewi.

The 23-year-old, a Siggiewi resident, was driving her car towards Haz-Zebbug when the crash occurred. The incident involved a Renault Kangoo being driven by a man, 45, residing in Fgura, in the direction of Siġġiewi. Due to the impact, the woman was trapped inside her car.

Members of the Civil Protection Department were called on site to help the woman out of the car. She was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital where she was certified to be in critical condition.
