Man falls off truck in Dingli quarry

A construction worker was injured in a fall while removing a canvas cover placed on a truck used as protection from the winter weather.

The incident happened this morning at the 'Ta' Zuta' quarry, limits of Dingli.

Although the man's condition is not yet known, it is understood that he did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

According to preliminary investigation, the man climbed on to the truck to remove the canvas, when he slipped and fell.
