Police investigations say motorcycle and pillion rider are not in danger of dying

A 48-year-old motorcyclist and his pillion rider were injured this afternoon when their motorcycle crashed this afternoon at around 12.55 pm.

Police investigations suggest that the 48-year-old driver from Mosta and his 43-year-old Bulgarian passenger, crashed after hitting the pavement.

The incident occurred this afternoon along St Paul's Bay bypass while the two were driving towards Burmarrad.

The two were hospitalised and transferred to Mater Dei Hospital.

They are not in danger of dying.
