18-year-old assaulted in Paola

An 18-year-old student from Haz-Zabbar was hospitalised after he was allegedly assaulted by a group of five or six persons.

The Police said the incident happened at around noon, in Triq Kordin, Paola. The young man was hospitalised and is believed to have suffered slight injuries.

According to inewsmalta, the student attends MCAST and was found by other students lying on the ground. The students alerted a police officer who happened to pass by and an ambulance was called.
