33-year-old in danger of dying

A 33-year-old man from Mgarr is in critical condition after suffering injuries when he collided with a car.

The man was riding a sulky when he collided with a Vauxhall, driven by an 80-year-old man from Mellieha.

An ambulance rushed the man to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries and in danger of dying.

A magisterial inquiry was being held.
