Two police officers injured, woman held

A Police sergeant and a female constable have been slightly injured by a 19-year-old woman from Marsascala this morning at about 7:30am.

The officers were assisting in a traffic accident which took place in the Marsascala By-Pass. 

A Kia, being driven by a 43-year-old man from Valletta and a Mazda driven by a 39-year-old man residing in Zejtun were involved in the accident, and the two men were involved in a heated argument.

The female, who is being held by the Police was not involved in the accident.
