Youths in substance therapy unit hospitalised after swallowing blades

Five youths resident at the Young Offenders Unit at the Substance Abuse Therapy Unit (SATU) in Imriehel, were taken to hospital earlier Friday afternoon after reporting having swallowed shaving blades earlier on in the night.

The youths, aged 19-20, were hospitalised and later cleared for release after the necessary verifications were made by Mater Dei Hospital staff.
