Man arrested after mugging elderly woman in Valletta
Elderly woman mugged in Valletta, culprit arrested by police.

A 26-year-old man, residing in Msida has been arrested over a snatch and grab he committed in Valletta.
The incident happened today, at around 7:45pm when the man stole a handbag from an elderly woman while she was walking in Republic Street corner with St. Dominic Street, Valletta.
The robber was caught shortly after in St. Joseph Street, Valletta. He is now being held by the Police for further investigations.
The victim was taken to a Health Center by her relatives to be treated for her minor injuries.

Why the Police haven't said of what nationality is this person residing in Msida? Normally the Police always says whether he's Maltese or a foreigner. Is there any particular reason I this case?

Message to any magistrate or judge involved in this case! Please, please do not even consider a suspended sentence. This very cowardly guy must be taught a hard lesson that this is intolerable behaviour.
