Man stabbed in Swieqi

A foreign man was hospitalised this morning after he was found wounded with a sharp and pointed object in Triq is-Sejjieh corner with Triq il-Ghajn, Swieqi.

The police said the incident happened today at around 3.30 a.m.

The victim was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries but not in danger of loss of life.

Police investigations are underway in order to establish what happened.
