Man dies following Gozo incident
59-year-old man from Xewkija who was critically injured when he fell off a ladder at his residence in on Sunday died today, the police say.
The 59-year-old man who on Sunday suffered a fall from a height in Xewkija, Gozo has died, the police said.
Preliminary investigation found that the man was in his house doing chores and fell off a ladder. He was immediately conveyed to the Gozo General Hospital for medical treatment and was then transferred to Mater Dei Hospital.
However, the man lost his battle and died earlier today.
